Drifters

I walk through the airport in Seoul, South Korea with a heavy suitcase stuffed to the brim with a months worth of clothing. Blink. I am on a plane, flying through the starry night sky for 11 hours. I read and watch a movie in a desperate attempt to stay awake to adjust to the time zone in the U.S. Blink. The plane is quickly approaching Seattle, Washington. With a loud thud, we land, and I smile. I am home.

Since my mom and I live in Korea, we decided to visit the States for the summer. From Washington to Utah, we were all over the place! First, my mom and I spent a few days in Utah catching up with old friends (we lived in Utah for four years). I had an amazing time hanging out with my friends, meeting new people, and going on adventures!

After Utah, my mom and I flew to Washington where we caught up with family. We traveled all over the Evergreen State: Long Beach, Olympia, Oso, and Seattle to name a few cities. From exploring countless coffee shops in Seattle to walking along the coast in Long Beach, time passed so quickly! I had the most amazing time in Washington, but after a month, I was ready to return to my life in Korea. 🙂

This summer was definitely one of my favorite summers so far! What about you? What adventures did you go on this summer? Comment below! I’d love to hear about them.
